When you go to outings you always see those promotional holes like beat the pro or get a hole-in-one and win a car. But do people ever actually make aces on those holes? European tour golfer Rickard Karlberg did, and with a hefty 7 iron.
Rickard Karlberg won a shiny new Volvo XC90 on the 16th hole at the Volvo China Open today. He used a solid 7 iron that carried 201 yards right to the hole. A hole-in-one is good on any day, but it’s way better when you win a car too.

Hopefully when Karlberg goes in to retrieve his car he’ll actually get the one that he was promised.
