Tiger Woods was reported making accommodations for two upcoming tournaments, Jack Nicklaus’s Memorial Invitational and the Players Championship. Fans got excited when he signed up for the U.S. Open in June, but could he be playing as soon as this month?

It makes sense that Woods would want to play in a tournament before the year’s second major. The Players takes place May 10th, which seems a bit too soon for him to return, but the Memorial Invitational is two weeks prior to the U.S. Open. As a five-time Memorial champ, it seems like the perfect opportunity to get back into the swing of things if he is actually going to come back.

Tiger Woods has been showing some promising recovery as of recent but this still does not mean that he will even play at all this season. We all have our fingers crossed and I believe he does too. His response to a question about his recovery at Tiger Jam proves he wants to be back on the field.

“Dude, if I knew, I would tell you. I’m sick of being on the sidelines … I want to compete against these boys. I miss it.”

Whether he comes back this month or in a year, the fact that there’s even a possibility of him rejoining the PGA Tour is an exciting thing.

Lemme see that club twirl!
