WATCH: Neymar Embarrasses Himself Trying Another Sport

It’s safe to say that any potential suitors for the Barcelona superstar won’t be forking out a, no doubt, world-record fee for Neymar’s baseball skills.

The Brazilian international has plenty of time off this summer after rejecting the chance to play in the Copa America – although the former Santos trickster will be representing the Samba yellow of Brazil at the lesser-respected (read: the one no one cares about) Olympic football, for some strange reason.

Unlike Neymar and baseball, there are a few other players who could’ve made it professionally in other sports had it not been for the beautiful game!

Tim Howard

Harlem Globetrotter’s coach, Sweet Lou Dunbar, drafted Tim Howard on June 22nd 2009. Just how close the American ‘keeper came to replacing three points in football for three-point shots on the court isn’t known.

Clive Allen

Potentially the most nondescript man and boring name in football, which is a shame for the former Tottenham striker because he was bloody quality in front of goal.

In fact, the former Queens Park Ranger striker was good with all balls in front of all goals, as Allen played as Field Goal Kicker for the now extinct NFL Europe team, London Monarchs.
