Zlatan Ibrahimovic Or Muhammad Ali…Who Said It?

Oi, 2016! Stop taking our finest talents!

The world of sport mourned that sad news of Muhammad Ali’s passing, today, as stars from all sports and all generations came out to pay their respects to ‘The Greatest’.

The Greatest there will ever be …. The biggest and the best ….. Rest In Peace

Like all athletes at the top of their respective games, Ali was far from modest; he didn’t try to be bashful and awkwardly play down his talents. No, he openly embraced and admitted just how talented he bloody well was! None of this false modesty nonsense, it was great to hear and see.

The bravado of Ali is certainly something Zlatan Ibrahimovic clearly embraced and adopted, with the Swedish international keen to let the world know, on regular occasions, just how talented he was!

So, who said it?

“I’m not the greatest; I’m the double greatest”

“I’m like a fine wine. The older I am, the better I get.”

Reporter: “You’ve got some scars on your face. What has happened?”

Ali/Zlatan: “Well…I don’t know…you’ll have to ask your wife about that”

“It’s hard to be humble when you’re as great as I am”

“I saw your wife. You’re not as dumb as you look.”

“I may not talk perfect white talk-type English, but I give you wisdom.”

“I’m not afraid of dying. I have faith; I do everything I can to live my life right; and I believe that dying will bring me closer to God.”
