Social media has jumped to the support of Dustin Johnson as he continues to play through the USGA’s pathetic indecision. Dustin Johnson stepped away from a putt on the 5th hole after his ball moved slightly. DJ’s honesty came as he and playing partner Lee Westwood both agreed he was not about to start his shot. You can see from the replay yourself. Fellow players are outraged that the USGA haven’t offered any closure on the incident and everyone, the players included, continue their rounds not knowing if DJ is no longer two shots clear.
This is ridiculous… No penalty whatsoever for DJ. Let the guy play without this crap in his head. Amateur hour from @USGA

Lemme get this straight.. DJ doesn’t address it. It’s ruled that he didn’t cause it to move. Now you tell him he may have? Now? This a joke?

.@JordanSpieth @McIlroyRory w/ you boys! The fact that the @usga thinks that DJ caused the ball to move is completely ridiculous! Laughable!
