Tottenham Hotspur Make Everyone Laugh With New Signing Announcement

With all the Euro 2016 and EU referendum shenanigans that have been going on, Premier League news, views and…nope, can’t think of anything else to rhyme, have kind of taken a back seat.

Tottenham’s signing of Victor Wanyama epitomised the lack of real interest in the top flight of english football, with the midfielder’s move from Southampton barely registering in the Twittersphere.

Mauricio Pochettino bringing the former Celtic midfielder to White Hart Lane highlights the Argentine’s huge belief in Wanyama, having been the manager who brough him to St Mary’s.

£11million, for a proven Premier League player, is outstanding value for money. Sure, the Nigerian international has his flaws, but barely reaching eight figures in transfer money is pocket change in today’s game.

One huge attribute of Wanyama’s is his social media presence, with his now famous spaghetti tweet regularly making its way back into the public domain despite being sent over four years ago!

Not one to miss a trick, Spurs’ Social Media Manager earned his money, today, with the following tweet off the back of the Wanyama announcement.

Come on. Admit it. You, at the very least, let out a smile.
