Manchester United To Make $130 Million Paul Pogba Offer

Manchester United is on the verge of making another huge signing: Paul Pogba.

Sources indicate that the Red Devils are willing to offer Juventus $130 million for the electrifying French midfielder. Additionally, the club is prepared to offer him upwards of $14 million per year in salary.

Manchester United is not the only club courting 23-year-old Paul Pogba. Real Madrid has expressed interest, but it’s unlikely they will be able to match United’s offer. Is $130 million too steep? You decide:

Under incoming manager Jose Mourinho, Manchester United have already had two blockbuster signings in Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Borussia Dortmund’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Do you think that Ryan Giggs would have been able to attract the likes of Ibrahimovic, Mkhitaryan, and now Pogba?

Not a chance.

Mourinho, the jackass that he is, is also a winner, and everyone knows it. That’s why the world’s best players want to come play for him. What makes it even more impressive is that Manchester United won’t even be playing Champions League soccer next year.

These world-class players must really believe in Mourinho’s vision if they are willing to forgo the Champions League (that or the power of the almighty dollar).

That’s why Manchester United tapped him as manager over club legend Ryan Giggs.

Mourinho apparently has an in with Mino Raiola, the Dutch-Italian super-agent of dubious moral standing.

Raiola also represents Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan, Mourinho’s two big signings thus far. Coincidence? Who’s to say…

Seems like they’ve got a good system in place here. If Pogba signs with Manchester United, that’ll be 3 for 3 for Mourinho and Raiola. They’re shaping up to be quite the 1-2 punch.

Whatever it takes to get the job done, right? If you gotta cut some backroom deals, so be it – Mourinho’s Manchester United squad will be one of the most exciting in the Premier League. Respect his process.

How do you think they’ll fare this year?

Will Manchester United finish in the top 3 in the Premier League next year?
