Messi Favorite To Become Argentina’s Head Coach

Argentina is in shambles and no one wants to take on the project of nursing bruised egos of superstars and attempting to babysit toddlers who don’t want to play anymore.

The standards have been dropped from former manager Tata Martino to that one crazy bastard at Lazio to anyone with a damn coaching license.

Argentina legend Juan Roman Riquelme recently discussed with the media that Messi should be allowed to pick the next coach.

In my humble opinion, they should ask Messi who he wants as coach of Argentina. The coach should put the team together with Messi, make sure he is happy because he is the only one who can lead us to victory.

At that rate, why not just name Messi the new manager?

He’s genuinely a terrible captain, but maybe making him coach could help heal his ego and lead Argentina to an international trophy.

Ronaldo did it for Portugal and they won a Euro Cup by winning one game in regulation.

Whatever Messi does can’t be worse than what Diego Maradona could potentially do if he was put in charge again.

As long as Argentina keeps the ex (and current?) drug addict and former world class footballer away from the national team and they should be able to weather the storm.
