In 2002, the two superstars were paired together in the TOUR Championship and on the first tee at East Lake, the starter began rattling off all of Woods’ accomplishments that season.
The season included 18 starts, 18 cuts made, 6 professional wins (1 on the European Tour) and a staggering thirteen top 10 finishes.
- Masters.
- Buick Open.
- Bay Hill Invitational.
- U.S. Open.
- Deutsche Bank – SAP Open TPC of Europe.
- WGC-American Express Championship.
This fat list of accomplishments was met with the perfect response. Both players have a strange relationship where respect and competivness come in equal measure.
