Icon of the upturned cap bill, Jesper Parnevik sat down with Guy Yocom from Golf Digest for the magazine’s “My Shot” feature.
The singular Swede has been living the #JupLife for years, as has the patron saint of marital infidelity, Tiger Woods. Both are members of Hobe Sound’s Medalist Golf club, and it’s there that Woods practices (when he’s not honing his game at his backyard facility).
Anyway, we haven’t heard much about the state of Tiger’s game as he prepares for his return to the PGA Tour at next week’s Safeway Open. According to Parnevik, the state of TW’s game is strong.
Here’s what the golfer-cum-Swedish reality T.V. star said
“I see Tiger at the Medalist. We talk and have played nine holes together…By the way, he’s been hitting a lot of balls, and he’s hitting it great. He’s pounding it a mile and flushing everything. On the range, at least, his trajectory and ball flight are like the Tiger we knew 15 years ago. Comebacks are never a sure thing, but something tells me his might be spectacular.”
Like the Tiger of the early 2000s? That would be damn spectacular.
