Marcus Rashford and Kelechi Iheanacho, the lads still look a few years short of university, but they’re the two whizzkids of Manchester at just 18 and 19 years old, respectively.
Yet, Iheanacho doesn’t get the headlines the Nigerian striker deserves, compared to the Manchester United man.
N.B. WARNING: not Man United or England bashing, facts are facts…
Goals
Both players know where the net is. The City man boasts a total of 17 goals in 41 appearances for the Citizens. Rashford has a similar return, with a total of 10 strikes in 23 matches.
Although not an awful lot can be made of these stats. What catches the eye, is in the 2015/16 Premier League, Iheanacho played 799 minutes compared to Rashford's 855. The Citizen found the net eight times compared to the United man's five.
People will look at the amount of games Iheanacho played, 15 more, but the return of goals to minutes is far more in the Nigerian's favour.

Assists
Looking strictly at goals, is a bit of a cop-out when comparing strikers. Yes, it's probably the most important contribution, but not the be-all-and-end-all.
Iheanacho is one of life's sharers. The Citizen has three assists in 167 minutes this season, compared to Rashford's zero from 155 minutes.
Ok, the first defence would be that City are on fire, and have 'better players'. But the United man is still in the company of your Ibrahimovics, Martials and Pogbas... I mean, they're underperforming, but that's not a bad group of names.

Impact
To see a clearer vision of Iheanacho's impact, is to examine the Nigerian's influence in his overall minutes on the pitch, rather than the amount of matches the striker has played.
In 1,365 mins for Man City (all competitions), the forward has had a hand in 24 goals, that's one in every 57 minutes.
Jesus.

Chances created
And this still could have been more.
Again, going back to the Nigerian's 799 minutes of football last season, the Citizen created over double the amount of chances than the Englishman.
Had the Citizens been more clinical, the forward is looking at a hand in a goal every 10 minutes. Incredible.

International
Rashford's impact on the England senior side was amazing to see. And the United man looked about the only thing positive in *that* game against Iceland.
However, regardless of the young man's Euro 2016 show, it is the Citizens striker who seems to be more clinical and efficient for his national side. The Nigerian has three goals in five senior appearances. Again, it's the minutes which make the figures more impressive. The striker has achieved this in 282 minutes, that's a goal every 56 mins. Enough said?
