No Laying Up’s official “Ambassador” of Tour Sauce and frequent guest on the “golf fanalysts” podcast, Justin Thomas uncorked a full-on celebratory champagne spray of Tour Sauce all over Kapalua this week.
JT, as you know, outlasted Hideki Matsuyama and Jordan Spieth at the SBS Tournament of Champions in Hawaii for the third W of his young career.
But the real story, if you caught any of the action (which most didn’t) was that Justin Thomas put on a display of sauciness for the ages.
NLU catalogued the brilliance.

3 wins at age 23. Some major stones down the stretch. Somehow I may have even underestimated JT’s ceiling. Congrats to The Ambassador.

Now, for a long time, Tour Sauce was an unconscious condiment on tour pros’ rounds. But have we seen a seismic shift with Thomas, a known No Laying Up enthusiast? Will pros try to get deliberately saucy?
Only time will tell (but you have to hope so).
