Steven Gerrard is out of contract with LA Galaxy at the end of the Major League Soccer season, and of course that has brought about inane and pointless links with a move back to Liverpool.
Even though we all know it’s a door that is – and should be firmly shut – for the 36-year-old, it hasn’t stopped Betway making the former England international, an even-money shot to return to Anfield when his contract expires.
The best thing that could happen is if Liverpool loan back Steven Gerrard in January and go on to win the title this season.

The leading online bookmaker offer odds of 4/1 that Gerrard is reunited with Brendan Rodgers at Celtic, while it’s 20/1 that he is lured to the lucrative Chinese Super League.
It’s 3/1 for him to extend his stay at Galaxy, or 13/2 that he signs for any other MLS side. A shock move to either Manchester United or Everton is priced up at 33/1 and 100/1 respectively.
“With Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool flying high, Steven Gerrard may fancy one more tilt at a league title and we make him an even money shot to re-sign for the Anfield side.
“Another side battling for a title win is Celtic and it’s 4/1 that Gerrard is reunited with Brendan Rodgers and Kolo Toure at the Scottish Premiership side.”
