These days, Lavar Ball is making just as many headlines as his 3 sons. We all know of Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball – three brothers that are slowly but surely conquering both high school and college basketball. With all 3 brothers projected to go to the NBA, you might be wondering how much it’s going to cost to endorse the trio; Lavar says $1 billion.
Yep, you read that right. If you’re a company looking to attach yourself to the Ball Brother epidemic, the price tag is $1 billion dollars.
Obviously for any company that’s entertaining this idea, it’s ridiculous to say the least. Yes, Lonzo (the eldest brother) has transformed his UCLA team into a winning squad ranking No. 3 in the nation and is a potential number one overall pick.
Here are projected picks in this year’s NBA Draft:
But soliciting all the Ball brothers as a package deal doesn’t seem likely. Especially when LiAngelo (the middle brother) is predicted to be an average player in college. And LaMelo is just 16 years old. However, Skip Bayless seems to think Lavar may be up to something:
If 2 of LaVar Ball’s sons become NBA stars, and a 3rd is an NBA starter, a billion-dollar shoe deal is not out of the question for all 3.

That “IF” has a $1 billion dollar price tag on it. As braggadocios as Lavar is, he may be on to something. He’s clearly led his boys in the right direction. Not only are they living up to the hype but he may – in a weird cosmic way – be manifesting all the erratic things he’s been saying. Except the part where he claimed he’d beat Michael Jordan in a 1-on-1 because of his size and stature alone.

But when Lavar’s not challenging the greatest player to ever play basketball on a 1-on-1 he’s advocating for his eldest Lonzo to go 1st in the draft, or play for the Lakers, he’s trading insults with Charles Barkley. One thing for sure is with the kind of mouth attached to Lavar’s face, there’s no need to hire a marketing team. Good or bad press, Lavar has people wondering just how talented his boys are. At this point, they just need to live up to the hype and Lavar will look like a genius. Even if they don’t, I’m doubtful this will be the last time we hear from the head Ball, Lavar.
