Jack Grealish isn’t good enough to warrant being a bellend

Jack Grealish is a little prick. I mean, I’d love to be able to sugarcoat it, but unfortunately my ability to do that has long gone. After being on the books at Aston Villa since 2001, it seems as if this attitude has been gradually brewing in the Englishman for years on end and unfortunately he isn’t good enough on the pitch to warrant it.

The 21-year-old has been on the up in terms of his position at the club for years now and looked ready to break into the first-team a few years ago; which he did. So what happened, I hear you ask? Well, after being sent-off during an FA Cup tie against West Bromwich Albion for diving, he bounced back with a number of impressive performances that eventually led to him playing the entirety of the FA Cup Final against Arsenal.

Now that the good stuff is out of the way, let’s get to the bad. In April 2015 he was shown inhaling nitrous oxide, and then later in the year he decided to go clubbing following a 4-0 loss to Everton. Both events on their own show his lack of discipline, but together they just make him seem like a thoroughly unlikeable individual. Oh, and he was also pictured passed out on the side of a road following a boozy night abroad. Great.

Then he was reportedly at a party in a Birmingham hotel that was shut down in the early hours of the morning, which led to Villa opening an internal investigation into the incident.

Why? Why are you doing this when you are paid thousands of pounds to live out a dream that millions of kids around the world have had?

He’s pissing it away. Period. His latest stamp during Villa’s draw with Wolves just confirms how vile this lad is both on and off the pitch, and it doesn’t show any sign of stopping.

Sure he’s handy enough on the pitch, but he’s lazy, not strong enough on the ball and doesn’t warrant all the praise that he gets in comparison to the negatives.

He should be dropped and it’s really that simple. He needs to learn some humility because right now, I can’t see a reason why he should be included in the Villa squad when he should be rotting in the reserves. His attitude is wrong, his behaviour is wrong, and his commitment is non-existent. Stop pretending you’re some kind of saviour for a club that you can’t care about as much as you say you do.
