Jordan Spieth YouTube’s his own swing; proceeds to break course record

The past year hasn’t been easy for Jordan Spieth, who failed to break par in the opening rounds of the WGC-Mexico Championship.

But enough was enough and Spieth eventually took to the internet for help.

“I was kind of looking at highlights of a couple of tournaments where I knew I was swinging it well. I couldn’t tell you anytime I’ve ever searched myself on YouTube, but I clicked on it and I was just looking.”

Spieth went all the way back and watched highlights from the 2015 Bridgestone Invitational to find a good swing.

Can you blame him? Back in 2015 he was a machine, hitting green after green, holing putts left, right and centre, as well as finding fairways! Oh and he had the small consolation of being a Masters champion and US Open winner…

If we all had hit half the shots that Spieth has, we’d all be vain as hell and watch them 24/7.

“I hit it a little straighter today and then really just played aggressive. I didn’t hit any foul balls.”

Spieth carded 6 birdies, 0 bogeys and a chip-in eagle shooting a course-record eight-under 63 in round three, to trail the lead by five shots.

I’m sure that Jordan isn’t the only pro out there who watches tutorials or golf videos on YouTube and why not, they’re awesome! Here’s our favourite top 10 viral golf videos…
