Why does Ronaldo continue to play media niceties with Messi?!

The debate of who is better between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi has been a continuing discussion for the past decade it seems, with players taking sides and the pair expressing their respect for one another.

The two continue to exchange niceties like a pair of teenage girls, but we’re calling bullshit on Ronaldo’s latest comments.

Recently, Ronaldo commented on the rivalry between the two and said,

“There is a big mutual respect between myself and Lionel Messi. The media like to make out like we have this big rivalry, but we don’t.”

Cristiano Ronaldo is the most arrogant bloke in football and thinks of himself on the same level as a demigod, so being so kind in a comparison to the Portuguese biggest rival in football is ridiculous.

Translated, this is what Ronaldo’s statement actually means,

“I have no respect for him. I am the best, I am the prettiest, and I am the most ripped. It is not my fault that I am so good and there is no rivalry. I am the best ever. The media is full of bollocks.”

Ronaldo is looking good for the cameras and his public image, but is really thinking – with his inflated ego – that there is no one like him in the world of football. CR7 is a fuck boy and like most fuck boys won’t admit to it, but everyone knows it.

Lying about the rivalry with Messi is a purely a bit of PR waffle, so that the Real Madrid star can conform to all the PC niceties that are expected by just about everyone these days, besides Donald Trump.

Lionel Messi is a direct threat to Ronaldo’s throne at the top of the footballing world and needs to stop dancing around the point. Man up and say what you really feel, Ronaldo. We all see through your little charade of being a good guy. Besides, Ronaldo as a villain is so much more fun.
