Ronaldo has told the world who he wants at Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo has notoriously been a terrible teammate to work with. The Real Madrid man is pouty, moody, and gets angry when you don’t pass him the ball; his standards are pretty high, from his barnet to football ability.

The No. 7 doesn’t just want to play with some scrub or some unproven talent. His royal highness wants to play with the best, so they can pass him the ball properly.

Ronaldo has now revealed the one player that he would bring to Real Madrid from Bayern Munich or Borussia Dortmund, if given the chance. You would think the Portugal man would like to ship in a player such as Renato Sanches, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang or Franck Ribery... if Ribery can last the whole flight without getting injured.

Yet, CR7 would love to – strangely – bring Portugal teammate and new Dortmund signing, Raphael Guerreiro, to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The hybrid midfielder/defender burst onto the scene at Euro 2016 where he helped lead Portugal to the title and truly had an opportunity to show that the youngster’s a baller and will be for years to come. At only 22-years-old, his best footballing years are ahead of and he’s growing every week with the amount of opportunities given at the club with all the injury issues.

Raphael Guerreiro even turned down a Barcelona move over the summer to go to Dortmund.

“It was a difficult decision to say no to Barcelona, but a moment arrived in which I had to decide and I went for Dortmund. I need to have continuity [in the team] and minutes to grow. And I have been lucky that in Germany things are going well for me.”

It is quite possible that Real Madrid will look to sign Guerreiro in the future. Marcelo is 28, and about as useful as a chocolate teapot. The Brazilian also isn’t going to play for another decade at Real Madrid like his homie Cristiano Ronaldo. Maybe the rejection of Barcelona was the just beginning and a sign of things to come?

Although he’ll cost Real Madrid an arm and a leg in the future – not that they give a monkeys – the price tag will be very worth it. Guerreiro is a young star in the making and it’s possible that Ronaldo will get his man at the Bernabeu before he retires from football at age 50.

Or he’ll just throw another tantrum and threaten to leave the club, your call Real Madrid.
