We’ve all seen odd, odd moments on the football pitch. I mean we’ve had feral dogs, we’ve had arrests, and we’ve even had to watch Marouane Fellaini earn a bloody living on the green.
And now, we have a new one. It’s also come at the right time with the International break being about as exciting as a cup of tea and Victoria sponge around your Nan’s house… Sorry, Nan.
Edin Dzeko, remember him? Often overlooked when at Manchester City, and now the Bosnia and Herzegovina captain has done something a little bit renegade; pulling the pants down of Greek opponent, Kyriakos Papadopoulo. Yep, you read that right.

Seriously, what is the bloke up to?! What’s the Roma man trying to achieve here?! We love the way the Greek defender just keeps his shorts down as well ?. He doesn’t make a remote attempt at dropping the ball, and then pulling his shorts up.
The unfortunate amongst us, who have been left red-faced back in the day at school; you know when you’re carrying your tray across the dining hall, and your mates behind you pull your trousers down? Or was that just me? Regardless, the bottom line is, you drop the tray and pull those black trousers right back up.
Dzeko’s Bosnia were leading 1-0 at the time of the incident, and Greece managed to pull a goal back, to gain a point in the World Cup Qualifier.
Dzeko had this to say on the matter…
“I got a red card for no reason, I don’t know why,
“The referee says I started the whole thing, but I was the only one ending on the floor, so how could I have started it?”.
I’m sorry, Edin. You don’t really have a leg to stand on here. You were already on a yellow card as well. And, you can’t go around debagging the opposition in an act which normally occurs in a Sunday League warm-up, and not a bloody World Cup Qualifier.
