The man, the myth, the curly haired legend; we all know who it is, that man, Carles Puyol. With his charisma and physique the former Barcelona man could star in anything from Jon Snow in Game of Thrones, to replacing Russell Crowe in Gladiator.
The Spaniard was a leader of men, and will go down as one of the greats of the game. To be recognised as one of the hardest players the Spaniard has faced, is some compliment. Sadly, for Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese man has missed the cut of a legends greatest XI, once again.

Genuinely an unbelievable team. And, it doesn’t even seem that Puyol has decided to let politics get in the way of his decision, with the Spaniard’s inclusion of Real Madrid players.
Puyol’s inclusions of Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero and Chelsea’s Didier Drogba currently raises questions over just how good Thierry Henry was? For many, the Frenchman was the best player to ever grace the Premier League. However, the Arsenal legend rarely makes these XIs.
