Some would say this joke has gotten pretty old now, but it hasn’t. It really, really hasn’t. There are three things that are certain in life – death, taxes, and Tottenham Hotspur bottling 99% of the big opportunities they get. Utterly tremendous stuff.
But on these six occasions in particular, Spurs truly did go above and beyond to remind the world just how shite they can be when they feel like it. WHL faithful look away now, meanwhile the rest of the footballing landscape – sit back and enjoy.
2015/16 Final Day
Ho ho ho, happy St Totteringham's Day everybody!
Tottenham very well may be the only team in world football to finish third in a two-horse race and by god, isn't that just the funniest thing you've ever heard?
Essentially, Arsenal finished above Tottenham once again. Shock.

2016/17 Champions League
Spurs really got creative with this one, taking one of the easiest Champions League groups possible and failing to qualify from it before the final game was even played.
Oh, and three of the matches took place at Wembley. This shit is too good.

Seven points clear with a few games remaining wiped out? No worries, just win on the final day. Literally, that's it, just win.
Nope. Spurs fucked it up in grand fashion by losing to West Ham which opened the door for you guessed it, Arsenal to sneak into the Champions League.
Bloody hell it's almost beyond a joke.
