Gary Neville: the bloke even Manchester United fans thought was a bit of a prick before the former defender took up punditry. Fast forward a few years to G Nev being at Sky, a couple of ‘Torrresssssssss *cue funny sex noises* ‘ pieces of commentary later, and the guy is loved everywhere.
Popular just about in all parts of the country, and the real reason people seem to tune into MNF; they’re certainly not there for the blockbuster fixtures.
Is it just me or has MNF been shocking this year. Such dead end games no one wants to watch

As inspiring as Burnley versus Watford is, it’s not exactly the best excuse to get you out of your missus duty on a Monday evening. So, over to you G. Nev to deliver some thorough insight that dissects a passage of play better than we used to do on some poor rodent in GCSE biology, followed by enough banter to fill an Inbetweeners episode.
However, the nation’s favourite pundit has shown a different side to himself following a prank call by some random bloke. Neville is bloody furious, but the response to the caller’s reference to Tony Adams is pure gold dust…
Perhaps it’s Chris Sutton once again going after, Gary. He’s called him out already this Christmas, and maybe the pundit fancies another pop. But the bottom line is, Neville is fuming, and rightly so to be fair, why is his number doing the rounds amongst a school?!
We can only imagine he got that angry at the Valencia players; ‘Mierda, no puedo hablar español’…
