Transfer rumours are like a broken record nowadays, you hear the same rubbish every window. From the obvious and inevitable to the utterly ridiculous. With a finite amount of rumours available, sites don’t even put the effort in to make up new ones and just spout the same stuff every year.
Here are seven rumours you are probably sick of hearing, and will surely make an appearance this month…
Wesley Sneijder to Manchester United
Wesley seemed to forgo any ambition to challenge himself domestically when he moved to Galatasaray. Four years later and he's probably lost it, but that doesn't stop United sniffing around every window.

Edinson Cavani to Arsenal
Cavani is quick, has excellent movement but can't finish his dinner. So it's unsurprising he's linked to Arsenal every transfer window. Another player to run the channels.

Gareth Bale to Spurs
Ever since Bale left Spurs, fans have been waiting for a bout of homesickness or a loss of form to bring him home. This has been exacerbated since rumours of a buy-back clause emerged leading to plenty of gossip about his return. He's not coming back, get over him guys.

David dea Gea to Real Madrid
Having been a league above United for a few seasons now and born and raised in Madrid, it's unsurprising he's been linked to Real every transfer window. Now more of a when than an if.

Steven Gerrard to Liverpool
When you imagine Liverpool winning the league, Steven Gerrard's lifting the trophy. So inevitably with Liverpool in the title race, come the rumours of a return in some capacity.

Muller to Manchester United
The amount of players linked with United in the past few years is probably a three figure number. This one is a reoccurring rumour though that won't deem to die. With the problems United have had finding a consistent 10 expect to see this one in the coming weeks.

Berahino to anywhere
Berahino just hates it in the West Midlands, he's been trying to get out for a couple of years but still to no avail. West Brom just won't let him go though, out of principle more than anything, it's just plain stubborn now.
