January is here, which brings with it the domino effect of the busiest point of the season. With this comes those coincidentally timed suspensions, injuries to players, fatigue – and – the real dampener of many squads in the Premier League…the African Cup Of Nations. Additions are needed, and, where best to head first than the bargain basement of the pool of free agents!
Here we have a range of free agents here from surprise packages, former class acts, wishful thinking all the way to those may or may not have already failed with short term spells from January onwards. Said player may or may not be an Irish roly-polying striker. Ahem…

So, there we go, our ‘keeper-less (although, just stick Ronaldinho in, he would probably casually become the best ‘keeper anyway) free agent XI is complete. There are a few who are destined to return and some who may be a bit of a stretch, but, there is quality in there for all teams in the Premier League. Which could mean we even see a few tussles for some of these free agents over the course of January.
