There were some outstanding performances in Italy this season as Serie A has slowly begun to regain the strength it once had in Europe, displayed by Juventus contesting the Champions League final this season.
The Old Lady are not the only side with superb talent in their ranks, though, with Roma, Napoli and both AC and Inter Milan boasting some fine players that have built on their performances of last term to become better players.
With this in mind, EA Sports FIFA 18 faces giving a number of Serie A players higher ratings based on this season, and we have picked out our 20 players that are likely to get an upgrade:
Lorenzo Insigne -84–>87
17 goals and eight assists this season has seen huge interest from around the world in the forward. Image Source: Twitter
Gonzalo Higuain – 89–>90
24 goals in the league for a striker deemed 'tubby'.

Many of the men here are subject to huge interest from the Premier League and La Liga and the likes of Juventus will be tested to the limit this summer. The Italian teams have already displayed that they are willing to sell their best players, with Paul Pogba leaving the Old Lady for Manchester United last summer. Whether these players will still be in Italy next year is up for debate, but their rising ratings are not.
