The U21 European Championships are in full swing and the group stages reach their finale this evening, with the standout fixture seeing Germany and Italy go head-to-head.
Both sides, as well as the Czech Republic, have a chance of finishing top of Group C and securing a passage to the tournament’s semi-finals, with Germany currently in the driving seat having won both of their matches so far.
Italy need to win to secure top spot, whereas Germany just need a draw, so it will be a difficult test for the Italians – but their squad is bursting with young talents, making a combined XI from the two nations look very good indeed.
