Spanish star Pablo Larrazabal attempts to break the record, but can he beat Danny Willett’s record?
Pablo Larrazabal posted five top-5 finishes in 2011, highlighted by his playoff victory at the BMW International Open in June. He also competed and made the cut at both The Open Championship and the PGA Championship. At the BMW International Open, he fired a final round 68 to reach the playoff and then birided the fifth hole of sudden death to secure his victory.
Larrazabal finished 17th on the final Race to Dubai standings last year, his highest finish to date. He won the European Tour’s Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year Award in 2008. Away from the course, Pablo loves to watch and play soccer. He uses an Odyssey Putter on Tour.
