Team Titleist is coming to you from St. Simons Island, Georgia where the PGA Tour is on-hand for the latest installment of the McGladrey Classic on the Seaside Course at Sea Island Golf Club. The 132 player field will be facing the 7,005 yard, par-70 oceanside layout where wind and weather can play a large role in determining the winning score.
As 2011 champion and Titleist Brand Ambassador Ben Crane remarks, “You need to be able to control your ball (Pro V1x) in the wind. Not just from tee to green, but also putting…if the wind is blowing, it makes it that much harder to keep your ball in play.”
And with winds swirling and temperatures below normal, 83 players will put their trust in a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x, more than four times the nearest competitor with 18, and more than all other competitors combined.
Titleist is also the top choice in the irons (32) and sand, lob and approach wedge (132) categories, and is tied for first in the putter (48) category.
