- Rickie finished on 16 under after a final round 68.
- Rory McIlroy eagled the last to finish two shots behind.
- Jordan Spieth finished tied 5th on 11 under.

Going into this week everyone was talking about Rory and Jordan. Rickie Fowler left his mark on the golf world this week and reminded everyone that the McIlroy, Spieth, Day ‘big three’ label is a hasty description.
The world number 6 hit two clutch shots on the way to a final round 69. McIlroy, who was forced to play half of his third round in the morning because of weather delay, couldn’t get it going in time. Rickie’s short game hit perfection at the right moments. Here he is Eagling the par 5 8th.

Obviously there was time for a winner’s selfie…
Rickie shocked everyone in a week where it was all about Rory and Jordan. This is great for golf and we can’t wait for the summer now.
