- Shane Lowry was playing his final round at the Honda Classic in Florida.
- He hit his tee shot into the water was heard repeatedly swearing on camera.
Put your hand up if you played golf this weekend and didn’t swear at some point or other, didn’t think so. Shane Lowry produced a poetic statement that beautifully summarised the frustration of an errant tee shot. Unfortunately for the Irishman his soliloquy was caught on Camera by NBC, leading to an awkward apology from the commentator.
Is Shane sorry that our ears were exposed to his tirade? Not on you life.
So I said a bad word…. Shoot me!
