Professional Golfers Spot Giant Gator On Innisbrook Golf Course During Practice Round For The Valspar Championship
Every golfer has to overcome obstacles, but those obstacles usually include bunkers, water hazards, and tough greens. You never really think about what might be in those hazards. I’ve heard horror stories about bees in sand traps but it looks like the professionals are dealing with an animal that’s a bit bigger this week at Innisbrook.
The Valspar Championship is starting tomorrow and a lot of the professionals are out today for a practice round.
Kevin Na was the first one to upload a pic of the green monster on hole #3. I am actually surprised at how close he is and that he’s smiling. I’d be backing away slowly hoping not to disturb the beast’s slumber.

Graeme McDowell saw the same gator not too long after. He also looks way too happy about it.. although with the amount of golf courses these guys play on they’ve probably seen their fare share of alligators.

It’s a good thing they saw the gator today and know what to expect tomorrow when the tournament starts. They’ll know not to hit it into that water hazard, that’s for sure.
Would you take a pic with the monster?
