Jordan Spieth responded angrily to some twitter users last night after a poor start to his first round at the Valspar Championship. One fan posted “IF HIS PUTTER IS NOT WORKING, HES GARBAGE. Every other aspect of his game is very average,” provoking a stern reaction from the world number one.
It was nice to see Rory McIlroy jump to the golfer’s defence, proving that these guys might be competitors but they’re also bros.
