Patrick Reed made an impressive eagle yesterday that in the end cost Phil Mickelson the round. Reed moved on to the Sweet 16 and Lefty was well.. left in the dust.
Phil Mickelson has had a rough few days during the WGC-Dell Match Play. First he had a 22-year-old make him putt a 1-footer and then this shot seemed to put him over the edge.
Reed obviously celebrated this amazing eagle with his caddie and when he went to get a fist bump from Phil, he was left empty handed. That didn’t stop Reed from giving him a little booty tap whether he wanted one or not.
Phil Mickelson is out of the game for now, but the Masters is less than two weeks away!
