New Las Vegas Championship will see millions placed on “pressure putts”

This looks insane on so many levels. Backed by Canadian billionaire Guy Laliberte, Lune Rouge Innovation announced it was starting the Major Series of Putting, a putting championship in Las Vegas next March that will offer millions in total prize money.

This isn’t mini golf. Picture a 20,000-square-foot stadium course built by Nicklaus Design which will include 18 holes of putting. Throw in the debauched nature of the Vagas strip and this is starting to look very tasty indeed.

According to ESPN: “Tournaments will take place over three weeks under lights with various entry fees, including a $5,000-entry stroke-play championship with the winner guaranteed $155,000.”

It’s amazing how golf is beginning to pop up all over Vegas. Top golf just opened an incredible new venue which overlooks the city. This goes out to all you golfing degenerates out there.

Paige Spiranac crushes it as she overlooks downtown Las Vegas.
