J.B. Holmes ran into a serious problem yesterday when United Airlines seemingly lost his clubs. That’s the one thing a golfer REALLY needs when they play golf is their golf clubs.
Just landed in Scotland for the Scottish Open and my clubs are missing… @United_Airline or @AerLingus I kind of need them this week…

He tweeted this on the 4th when he landed and the airline still had not found his bag 2 days later on the eve of the Scottish Open..
Still no clubs… Come on guys I really want to play in #TheScottishOpen @united @AerLingus

By 2PM that day, Holmes was getting a little testy as any normal person would.
2 p.m. The day before #TheScottishOpen and @AerLingus still has not found/gotten my clubs here… @GolfChannel #thisstinks

Thankfully at 7PM his clubs were found and delivered to him.
Thank you to @EuropeanTour, the R&A, and #The ScottishOpen staff… Got them at 7:00 and off to practice @DBParsons pic.twitter.com/89aSClNeee

Instead of having two days to practice like I’m sure he intended, Holmes was only given the night before to take the time to get ready for the Scottish Open. The Castle Stuart Golf Links is not an easy course and with the lack of practice J.B. Holmes found that out the hard way, opening with an 80.
