The National Olympic Committees has officially finalized the 120 male and female golfers who will be making history in Rio this summer.
Among the men, recent major winners Henrik Stenson and Danny Willett will be representing their respective countries. Even without Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, and the numerous other golfers who withdrew, golf still has strong professional diversity in the 112 years since the game has been included in the Olympics.

Lydia Ko will be in attendance along with Brooke Henderson, Inbee Park, and Lexi Thompson. The Zika virus didn’t scare these top talented women away from representing their countries and their sport.
Contrary to what McIlroy believes, golf is an important part of the Olympics this year and any true fan will tune in to watch these men and women earn their medals.
