Tiger Woods and Arnold Palmer were friends who shared a mutual love for the sport and the competition it brought.
Arnold won a staggering 62 PGA TOUR titles between 1955 and 1973, including seven Majors. And when you consider Tiger’s 79 PGA TOUR wins (14 Majors), it’s easy to see what the two had in common, greatness.
They are in an exclusive club of golfers who dominated a specific era. Whichever way you put it, if there were a Mount Rushmore of golfing greats, Tiger Woods and Arnold Palmer would be on it.
Thanks Arnold for your friendship, counsel and a lot of laughs. Your philanthropy and humility are part of your legend.

With that being said, it’s all the more poignant to see the close bond the two men shared throughout the years. In the video below, we see Tiger Woods, currently travelling his own personal Damascus Road back to the top, share his views and reflect on his relationship with The King:
One great reflecting on his bond with another. Reflecting on the life of the legend that was, quite simply, THE man, Arnold Palmer.
