Matt Kuchar was robbed of a hole-in-one prize at the WGC-HSBC Champions last week.
When professionals make ace’s on tour, there’s usually something that goes along with that, usually it’s a money for a fan or a car for the pro. Well, Kuchar made an ace on a hole that had a Cadillac as the prize, but because of a ruling was not able to receive said car.
“I was teased by this beautiful car sitting there that’s not to be mine,” Kuchar said after the round.
Cadillac ended up hearing about this, and was not having any of it! Not only was he given a car but he was able to choose the car he wanted, instead of it being dictated by the tournament.
The KUCH chose a 2017 Cadillac Escalade.
“Certainly this is no longer the saddest hole-in-one of my life. My 9-year-old son recently asked me if I’d ever made a hole-in-one to win a car and I’ll be happy to now tell him that I have.”
Justice has been served.
