With the PGA Tour making its annual stop in south Georgia this week, Kevin Kisner is set to defend his title. The fun loving South Carolina resident would be one awesome dude to hang out with, here’s why.

The current world No. 41 burst on to the scene in 2015 with a string of runner up finishes, including a playoff loss at the Players Championship to Rickie Fowler. He rose nearly 200 spots in the world rankings by year’s end, and captured his first PGA Tour victory at last season’s RSM Classic.
Kisner’s meteoric rise to the top tier of professional golf gave him the opportunity to become only the second player from his home town of Aiken, SC to play in the Masters. His fun loving attitude and tell it like it is personality has made him a favorite among fans and tour players alike.
When asked who he would switch places with on the PGA Tour for one day, he answered, Tiger Woods. When asked why, Kisner responded, “because I could spend all his money”. Correct answer, Kevin.
If that wasn’t enough to bring you over to team Kisner, check out this awesome video at Kisner’s home club in Aiken. Kisner and his best buds went out for a “friendly” 9 hole match, and once the drinks started flowing things got a little wild. All I can say is, golf cart race.
Now Kisner and his friends did get temporarily suspended from the club for the incident, but all has been made right since and Kisner and friends remain in good standing at Palmetto Golf Club.
With Kisner defending his title at the RSM Classic this week, it is clear that he has plenty of game to back up his fun loving attitude. He is a proud husband and father with goals of becoming the number one player in the world.
Know you live in the south when a Krispy Kreme opens and they have 3 cops directing traffic in and out of it

With a sweet swing and down home personality, it is easy to see why so many have jumped on the bandwagon of “Team Kisner”.
