Peyton Manning is definitely enjoying his retirement. Not even a year into it, he gets an offer to join the most coveted golf club in the sport.
That’s right, Augusta National wants the Super Bowl champion to be on their team. Austin Rhodes, “Augusta’s #1 award winning news and info source since 1992” (says his bio), tweeted out the info out for the world to see.
I have a report that the Augusta National has invited Peyton Manning to become a member!

Peyton wouldn’t be the first retired NFL player to become a member of this prestigious club. He would be joining Lynn Swann and Pat Haden as a green jacket owner.
Given Augusta National’s policy to not discuss club business, we won’t know for sure whether Manning becomes a member until he makes it publicly known or if you see him in the background at the next Masters.
Now that would be a sight.
