If you missed the news, Bubba Watson (he loves pink, you know!) put a pink Volvik ball in play this week at Kapalua.
The South Korean-based ball company has a foothold on the LPGA Tour, but the Bubbs is, not surprisingly, the first PGA pro to put one of the brightly colored orbs in play on the men’s circuit.
The good folks at the PGA Tour’s Skratch TV took the opportunity to turn back the clock to 1980, when Al Czervik (played by Rodney Dangerfield) likewise teed off with a colored ball in Caddyshack. Swap in Bubba Watson, Jordan Spieth, and caddie Michael Greller’s heads and hilarity results.
