…his calves.
Burn! There’s a withered grandfather in Florida looking for his below-the-knee apparatus.
This is something you won’t see on the PGA Tour: Tiger Woods in shorts. The European… https://t.co/G2SKoKWVVv pic.twitter.com/NXXxLlv9iS

Woods was spotted on the range ahead of this week’s Dubai Desert Classic in shorts, per the European Tour’s (eminently sensible) policy of allowing players to wear shorts during practice.
And it still appears all the calf raises in the world haven’t added much to the diameter of ole Woody’s lower legs.
As George Mackenzie wrote for us last year, Jaimee Grubbs, one of Woods’ legion of mistresses, said to the superstar:
‘For someone who works out a lot, you sure have small calves!’ “I remember him giving me the biggest death look. He told me he was very insecure about the size of his calves. He said, ‘I can’t grow calves.’ And I was like, ‘Okay, sorry!’
Given his obvious penchant for hair restoration, it’s somewhat surprising T-Dubbs hasn’t opted for a pair of these silicone beauties (especially given his love for silicone beauties).
Anyway, a jet-lagged Woods arrived safely in Dubai sans calves. We’re eager to see how he fares after an entirely sub-optimal performance at Torrey Pines. Hopefully the warmer climate will help him to swing a bit more freely.
Also, high marks for taking a page out of the Michael Jordan Extra Pockets on the Golf Course playbook.
