Bill Belichick plans to celebrate the Super Bowl with some golf

Bill Belichick, the head coach of the Patriots, just made sports history by winning his 5th Super Bowl. The chemistry and power behind Belichick and Brady was incomparable last night and it showed.

Now he’s putting down the playbook to pick up some golf clubs, as he heads to the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

This will be the fourth time Belichick has attended the Pebble Beach event. He’ll be playing with partner Ricky Barnes, whose father was a punter for the Patriots back in the day.

What a nice way to celebrate a pivotal moment in your career, take a weekend off to play some golf. Sounds like something we’d all do (if we could). Although we would hope he’d really relax and enjoy it, during the post game interview, it seems as if Belichick may bring his playbook after all.

“As great as today is, in all honesty, we’re five weeks behind in the 2017 season.”

Although Brady will not be among the celebrities playing, Mark Wahlberg will be there, so that’s close enough.
