Let’s be clearer than Donald Trump’s conscience about his habitual untruthfulness: The President lied. Behind closed doors, he fabricated details of “friend” Bernhard Langer’s unfortunate go of things at the voting booth.
If you remember the genesis of this absurd saga, Trump said, according to multiple sources, that Langer told him that he was tossed out of line to vote, while too illegal-looking (whatever that means) voters were ushered inside to cast ballots.
Of course, it was immediately revealed that Langer is still a German citizen, and he cannot vote in the United States. The tale became even more absurd shortly thereafter, when it was revealed that Langer had merely heard a story, which he told to a friend…who told a friend at the White House…who told El Presidente. Remember that game telephone? It’s like that but on a WHOLE OTHER LEVEL.
Somehow, the Trump administration chalked the whole story up to “fake news” (everything is fake news these days) rather than deliberately lying to prove a dubious point. And the faux voting fraud story didn’t exactly reflect positively on either Drumph or Langer.
I call my own shots, largely based on an accumulation of data, and everyone knows it. Some FAKE NEWS media, in order to marginalize, lies!

With the Champions Tour stalwart back in action, reporters had the chance to press Bernie about what happened. He revealed he received a call from the Oval Office.
“We talked on the phone, and he was very clear … if there was anything that hurt me, he apologized. And I apologized, too, for some of the quotes that were incorrect and we’re on good terms.
“I didn’t say anything to the president. We never talked. I told a story to a friend and the friend told a story to another friend and another friend and another friend. Somewhere down the line six people later somebody knew somebody at the White House and that’s how it went, OK?”
“That’s how it went, OK?” LOL! “Six people later?” What in the god-loving, F! I think there’s a lesson in here somewhere about gossip…and lying, that too.
Sounds like a story that started with a few cocktails in hand, and ended in a lot of shame and regret.
