The Masters is back on our screens in just 3 weeks. Las Vegas have recently released a spread that gives you some idea of the the general population’s betting habits.
The Masters comes at such an interesting time of year for professional golfers. The landscape is tumultuous to say the least; some players are halfway through their season, others are making a slow return. This year sees so many players in form. Surely this is the first time in decades that the defending Masters Champions isn’t in the top 25. Such is the poor form of Danny Willett. Other notables include Tiger Woods at 125/1 (an enormous change); Smylie Kaufman – who booked the final tee time at last year’s tournament – at 150/1; and the 2016 high amateur, Bryson DeChambeau, on 150/1. See the gallery of top pick below.
Rory McIlroy 17/2
He has finished T8, 4th and T10 in three of his last four Masters. The problem is his putting. The weather forecast suggests quick greens. Source: European Tour Twitter
Patrick Roberts
If someone had told us there’d be a Celtic player on the list, we really would’ve guessed Moussa Dembele. It seems Leo didn’t like the cut of his Mercurials, however, and Patrick Roberts was chosen instead.
The teenager, contracted to Man City, is a big talent to be fair, and seems like a great guy to boot ?. Sorry, I'll show myself out.

Henrik Stenson 30/1
Henrik has had a pretty dismal showing - by his standards - in previous Masters. He has never recorded a top 10 at Augusta. Source : European Tour/Instagram
Justin Rose 30/1
Not too sure about this one. Rose is an injury concern and he hasn't been driving well of late. Will need to get that draw going. Source: Twitter

Bubba Watson 40/1
I would not be ignoring a two-time Master winner. This is Bubba Watson after all. He would be a lock for us. Source: Instagram

Vegas is taking this guy seriously and so should you. Form has dipped lately but he can be so dangerous. Source: Instagram
