Once a WWE superstar, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is now a full-blown movie star and budding business magnate. He’s also one of the longest drivers in the world…apparently.
On the set of his HBO show “Ballers,” Johnson posted the following picture of himself and his rippling biceps crushing a drive on Instagram Tuesday. Check this thing out:
Let’s just drill down on the claim here. Unless he’s joking, this is what the Rock would have us believe, “My drive here measured an estimated 490 yards by the scientists holding the rulers. I failed math when I was a kid, but I think that’s kinda close.”
While it’s unclear what “scientists holding the rulers means,” beyond the fact that the drive was almost certainly not measured by actual scientists holding rulers, Johnson somehow arrived at the number 490.
Could he really have hit it that far? For the sake of comparison, using a weapon calibrated for long drive, Joe Miller’s longest drive en-route to winning the World Long Drive Championship last year was 439 yards.
Do we really think The Rock, obscenely jacked elite athlete that he is, is capable of generating the sort of club head speed Mr. Miller does? Really? How much golf does he even play? Certainly not as much as the pros, who average 275 yards off the tee. Even Miller, who broke the grid at the World Long Drive Championship, doesn’t hit that long. We’re going to need some golf scientists to believe this little bit of hoopla.

Rivaldo
Look, look, Rivaldo may have done some pretty frustrating things throughout the course of his career (hello 2002 World Cup) but at the end of the day the Brazilian was always just so damn good.
Some people would say he was the best player in the world at one stage, and it's hard to argue.

Dimitri Payet to Tottenham
In a move which would certainly outrage West Ham fans, Payet is simply too good for the club.
West Ham have started slowly, and once again, have already been eliminated from the Europa League.
Payet is an unquestionable talent, and at 29, he must move to a club who will guarantee European football and a good chance of winning a trophy.
Spurs have continued to be impressive this season and the addition of Payet would make them contenders in any competition.

Riyad Mahrez to Arsenal
Although Leicester have been good in Europe, they have been exploited this season by the top sides in the Premier League; as Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester Utd have all comfortably demolished them by three goals.
Leicester may struggle to qualify for Europe again this season, which means that Mahrez is unlikely to stick around.
Arsenal can almost guarantee top four. And Arsenal are currently looking strong with only one defeat in their last 19 Premier League games.
Mahrez would certainly help in maintaining that run which could bring Arsenal to their first league title since 2004.
