Before teeing off on Saturday at The Memorial Tournament, Justin Thomas took a joy ride on an electric scooter to scoop up his Grandma. He may not have won the tournament but he won best grandson, that’s for sure.
The video the PGA Tour posted, is actually quite long for some reason, following Thomas from wherever he got the scooter all the way to his g-ma. It’s actually quite entertaining to see how entertained he is by this electronic scooter for older folks.

His grandma’s reaction is just too sweet, even though Thomas starts to drive away from her. Looks like he wanted it for himself.
“Wouldn’t it be funny if you drove up to the first tee with that.” -Grandma Thomas
That thing is sneaky fast. G Ma was out there riding dirty 💨🛴😎 https://t.co/mtFkzdAxB2

This moment is a bit reminiscent of Happy Gilmore and his grandma, although without the creepy old folks home tenant that Ben Stiller played.
Luckily, Grandma was at a tournament where Thomas finished fourth, and although he didn’t win, he wrote in an Instagram post that he was happy he showed “good form”. Definitely a good way to prep for the U.S. Open next week.
In other news, Jason Day will be sitting front row for Game 3 of the NBA Playoffs, this time though, Ellie Day will not be in attendance.
“I’m going to watch the Cavs on Wednesday,” Day told reporters following his T-15 at the Memorial. “Gotta support the team. Not second row, I’m sitting right in the front row. The wife is not coming.”
If you have to ask why, then you clearly didn’t see what happened last year when LeBron James pummeled into Day’s wife after trying to capture a rogue ball. I honestly don’t know why this video is so funny, because it shouldn’t be, but here it is:

Pretty sure it was her decision not to go this year. Go Cavs?
