No matter how hard Monaco try to focus on the new Ligue 1 season, whilst the transfer window rumbles on, and Kylian Mbappe remains their player, the interest will be what is going on off of the pitch.
The in-demand striker’s absence from the starting XI against Dijon, and then the whole squad for Monaco’s victory against Metz, naturally, fuelled talk of the said-to-be impending move to Paris Saint-Germain. However, L’Equipe – who are the go-to source for French football – have revealed that the 18-year-old was involved in a training ground bust-up with teammate, Andrea Raggi.
Kylian #Mbappe has been excluded from #Monaco training after clashing with Raggi last week. Tension spiralling as August 31 approaches.

Despite it being so close to one of the biggest (and laughable) sporting events of recent years, in Floyd Mayweather against Conor McGregor, Mbappe and Raggi’s confrontation is believed to have only been verbal rather than physical – doesn’t take a genius to workout what Raggi’s insults would’ve centred around; does anyone know what is French for traitor?
Leonardo Jardim deemed Mbappe the bigger culprit of the two and dismissed the striker from training. However, in true ‘Kevin And Perry Go Large’ teenage tantrum style, Mbappe refused to leave, forcing the rest of the Monaco squad to change pitches for the rest of training.
This had me in bits, he's trying to sound like Kevin and perry yet he sounds literally nothing like them ffs joker pic.twitter.com/6IRtE52Kpu

With things going sour, and fast, for Mbappe and Monaco’s relationship, the sensible money will be on Mbappe completing the frowned upon trip of Monaco to Paris. However, despite rumours, Javier Pastore isn’t keen on moving the other way.
“I’ve thought about it, but I think I have the qualities to play for PSG.
“No, no, that’s out of the question; there’s nothing at all in that.”

With Neymar making a mockery of the French top-flight, already, and Edinson Cavani demoted to support act alongside the Brazilian, would a move the superclub really be the next logical step in what promises to be an exciting career?
