Didn’t Think You Could Love Millie Bobby Brown Anymore? Think Again

The number 11 will now forever be associated with Stranger Things, and Millie Bobby Brown’s character in the Netflix hit; an acting performance that had barely any words, and yet viewers felt every facial expression made by Eleven and the character’s struggles to come to terms with her surroundings.

The connection the Stranger Things’ audience has with Eleven, and Eleven’s relationship with Mike, Lucas and Dustin warms the cockles of your heart, and that’s credit to each and every one of those children, and the acting performances they gave, performances that belied their years.

With the successful release of season two of Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown has been cast further in the limelight, and despite only being 13, Millie is clearly cutout for the Hollywood circuit – and we hope she continues being adorable for many, many years to come

Millie Never Attended Acting School

If you’ve got the gift, you’ve got the gift; there’s no need to spend thousands of pounds and hundreds of hours learning how to demonstrate ‘fear’ with your eyebrows.

But we’d back Millie to achieve anything she sets her mind, too – especially if she’s going to use Eleven’s abilities!

There’s something about Millie having never attended an acting class, and yet still being so god damn good at it, that perfectly encapsulates the innocence of children.

A few senior actors and actresses out on there could learn a lot from Millie’s approach to her work and life.

“To live in the moment and to make mistakes is a big part of being a person,”

– Millie Bobby Brown

Brown is deaf in one ear

Bet you didn’t know that, did you? And it makes Millie’s performances all the more impressive.

We are gutted for her, that Millie is unable to fully hear and appreciate just how wonderful her performances are – especially in the second series, with Eleven having a much more vocal role.

Spending Her Hiatus

We imagine it’s stressful shooting a series: lines to remember, people constantly wanting to touch up your make-up and unable to grab five minutes peace. Therefore, when filming ends, it must be sweet relief for actors and actresses – finally, it’s time to fly off on holiday, or do nothing but binge watch your favourite series over a weekend.

But Millie Bobby Brown won’t be doing anything of the sort.

“I just want to focus on helping other people; working with Unicef is a really big dream of mine.”

– Mille Bobby Brown
