1. Post Malone Acts In A Mark Wahlberg’s Movie
Post Malone is set to make his acting debut in Mark Wahlberg’s upcoming movie ‘Wonderland’. The film is based on the 2013 crime novel of the same name by Robert B Parker. While who exactly Post will play is not yet known, the recent shock decision to change his notorious hairstyle (by cutting off his man bun) has prompted fans to speculate largely around who it may be.
2. Post Malone Wants To Be On The Next Season Of Queer Eye
Post Malone recently dropped a huge hint that he may in fact be on an upcoming episode in next season of TV makeover show ‘Queer Eye’ following an interview with TMZ. The ‘Beerbongs 7 Bentleys’ rapper told TMZ “I love the show. It’s hilarious. It’s a great show.” He also added: “I want a nice ’60s Austin Powers gentleman.”
3. Moving To LA
Post moved to Los Angeles when he was 18 with his friend from Dallas, Jason Probst.
The rapper at the time ended up renting a house in Encino with his friends who ran a popular Minecraft YouTube channel and sleeping in a closet. The rapper described the time as “freeloading” while trying to make efforts to make it in the music industry.

Post Malone achieved huge commercial success with his 21 Savage collaboration, ‘rockstar’.
The song ended up reaching number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming Post Malone and 21 Savage’s first number-one song. The hit track also broke the single week streaming record on Apple Music with over 25 million streams.
5. Always Tired’ Face Tattoo
Post Malone has a face tattoo that reads ‘Always Tired’ below his eyes.
In June 2018 Post Malone showed off the latest addition to his tattoo collection via tattoo artist Chad Rowe’s Instagram account. The tattoo reads ‘Always’ below his right eye, and ‘Tired’ below his left.
6. Post Malone’s Real Name Isn’t Post Malone
Post’s real name is actually Austin Richard Post. After his father became the manager of concessions for the Dallas Cowboys, Post chose to call himself by his stage name in his early teens, and later admitted that the ‘Malone’ part of his name is completely made up by using a random name generator online.
7. Post Malone Writes His Own Lyrics
Post began writing his own lyrics when he was 16 before recording his first mixtape, which he later described as “awful”. Post Malone still to this day writes his own lyrics and encourages all those around him to do the same.

Malone was born in Syracuse, New York and raised in Grapevine, Texas to American parents. According to ethniccelebs.com, Post’s maternal grandfather, John Carlo Pavetto born in Pennsylvania to Italian parents.

Post’s collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign, ‘Psycho’, peaked at number two on the Hot 100. Following on from the success of his chart-topper ‘rockstar’, Post dropped ‘Psycho’ at the beginning of 2018. The slow-moving trap-influenced song has a more mellow feel that it’s predecessor, and sky-rocketed to number two shortly after its release.

Post Malone gained major recognition after posting ‘White Iverson’ on Soundcloud in 2015.
Post wrote his debut single in “two days”, and recorded it with esteemed production duo FKi in LA. It instantly blew up and was picked up on by artists like Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller. Six months later, Malone signed a major-label deal with Republic Records.

The hugely anticipated follow-up to ‘Stoney’ was set to drop on 1st December 2017. Following a lengthy delay, the album dropped on 27th April 2018. The record features the hit singles ‘Rockstar’ and ‘Psycho’, and broke the Spotify streaming record on its first day of release.

Post Malone started originally learning to play the guitar thanks to the popular video game ‘Guitar Hero’. The rapper claims to be “five star everything on expert mode” on Guitar Hero 3 and taught himself how to play the real guitar from watching YouTube videos, which was inspired by bands like AC/DC and Metallica.

As of 2017, it was estimated that Post Malone was worth around $1 million. However, following the success of ‘rockstar’ and his recent rise in success and popularity, the figure has no doubt increased largely.
